(Mistakatonic University Press) - With little fanfare and even less warning, APFL Comissioner George Nebesnik was married to his longtime friend, Jack-O Nassis, in a private ceremony yesterday. The press was not invited, and the couple said their desire for privacy in this special time was not unusual.
The groomsmen included several APFL coaches, including Phil Szatch of the Duluth Moose, brilliant_dude of the league champion Texas Outlaws, and Neal F. Guye of the Arkham Grave Robbers.
The bride wore a beautiful white gown that was reportedly manufactured in Arkham, where he grew up. His ties to the city are based on his supernatural heritage.
Musical selections included "YMCA," performed by the Village People, and "Copa Cabana." which was sung by Barry Manilow. Manilow is a long-time companion of Phil Szatch.
"I was honored to be at the ceremony," said Manilow. "The bride and groom were both stunning, and I am sure their long romance will be even sweeter in marriage."
The couple plans to honeymoon in Hawaii. The ceremony was also held in Hawaii, at the advice of league attornies.
