V I R G I N I A B E A C H P A N T H E R S #03-Va Beach-CB-Ned Jarvis Everyone loves Ned. Everyone. The Panthers love Ned a lot. With Ned on one side and Shawn Dixon on the other, throwing against the Panthers is going to be very difficult. #15-Va Beach-SS-Alex Chamblee IMPACT didn't like this pick at all, while AMIR thought it was a round early. Chamblee may become All-World, but right now he is a turbo-rusher and a short-zone man. He brings a load, though. The Panthers should have taken Dennis Williams with this pick. Or Sean Kay. #27-Va Beach-OL-Ethan Gillette A great pick, last peice of the OL puzzle for the Panthers. #39-Va Beach-KK-Brett Ross He'll be better than his predecessor. No range, but deadly accuracy. #51-Va Beach-LB-Clayton Orlando Adds nothing to the Panthers. Picked a little early, perhaps, but not a bad pick. Just bad for this team. Garin Mersereau or Phil Underwood would have helped a lot more. #63-Va Beach-HB-Brian Wright This guy is marginal at best. How about Wyatt Cushman? #75-Va Beach-DL-Randy Jacoby Greg Clark would have helped this team more. OVERALL: Filling a huge hole at K was great. Picking Gillette was good. The rest was scrambled. DL absolutely needed to be addressed, and wasn't. HB and FB could have been addressed, and weren't. GRADE: C
